About DWC
Daniel Webster College is dedicated to giving you the educational
foundation, practical experience, and professional skills you
need to succeed in the
M.B.A. for Aviation
Professionals online degree program. While participating
in an online program means you don't need to be on campus, we
thought you still might want to know more about DWC and our
commitment to aviation programs.
Character
- Accredited by the New England Association of Schools
and Colleges (NEASC); member of the New Hampshire College
and University Council; accredited by the Council on Aviation
Accreditation (CAA) and holds Federal Aviation Administration
Air Agency Certification PSE 15/21 as an approved pilot
school; flight courses are operated under Part 141 and Part
61 of the FAA regulations; affiliated with FAA College Training
Initiative (CTI) for air traffic control
- Four-year, private, non-sectarian co-educational residential/commuter/online
college with a primary focus on experiential learning
- Small college atmosphere with emphasis on individual
excellence through individual attention
- Fully automated Anne Bridge Baddour Library and Learning
Center with services including full-text journal databases,
the online catalog, subject websites, document delivery
service, and more
Aviation Fleet
- Includes Cessna 172's for our basic VFR and IFR training.
Mooney M20J's and Piper Arrows, used for complex aircraft
training. Grob 109 motor gliders, and Piper Seminole multi-engine
aircraft
- Tamposi Aviation Center is directly adjacent to Nashua
Airport, with its 5,500-foot paved and lighted runway and
operating control tower
- Center is fully equipped with a flight dispatch area,
classrooms, offices, and a lab equipped with single and
twin-engine Aviation Simulation Technology flight simulators
- One of only a few aviation schools with its own air
traffic control simulators
Location
- Conveniently located in Southern New Hampshire in Nashua,
the state's second-largest city and twice named "America's
Best Place to Live"
- The city's municipal airport is adjacent to the campus
- Boston is just 36 miles to the south and Manchester,
New Hampshire, is 20 minutes to the north
Student Body
- Average enrollment is 1,200 students: 600 traditional
and 600 non-traditional with more than 25 states and eight
to twelve countries represented annually
- Typical population is 80% male, 20% female
- Student-faculty ratio is 12:1, providing opportunity
for individual attention and instruction, tutoring, and
advising
